Return Policy

Our general return window is 30 days from the date you receive your order. Please contact us within this period to request a return.

To be eligible for a return

  • The item must be in its original condition: unworn, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
  • You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

Once we accept your return request, we will email you a prepaid return label and detailed shipping instructions. Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception. If the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can make it right.

Handmade and Natural Material Disclaimer

All pieces from The Tuftista are individually handcrafted. Natural materials (such as wool) may show slight variations in texture, thickness or shade—these are hallmarks of artisan craftsmanship, not defects.

While we carefully source high‑quality materials, we are not liable for unavoidable natural variations or undetectable supplier imperfections that do not affect normal use.

Exceptions / Non‑returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  • Custom‑made, personalised, or made‑to‑order items
  • Sale items
  • Gift cards

If you are unsure whether your item is eligible, please contact us before shipping it back.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original item and place a new order.

EU 14‑Day Right of Withdrawal

Orders shipped to the European Union may be cancelled or returned within 14 days for any reason (excluding custom‑made or personalised items). Returned items must meet the same condition requirements listed above.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, we will refund your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the refund.
