Welcome! By using our website or purchasing our handcrafted fibre‑art pieces, you agree to the terms below.

1  Who we are

2  Using our site

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or have parental consent) to place an order.
  • Do not use the site for unlawful purposes, upload malware or infringe any rights.
  • We may refuse or cancel an order if we suspect fraud, resale or misuse.

3  Handmade products & availability

  • Each piece is hand‑made; slight variations in size, colour, texture or pattern are normal and not defects.
  • Fibre quality may vary due to natural factors (breed, season, processing).
  • Natural fibres can develop a gentle patina over time.
  • Products are made in limited quantities; prices, stock and lead‑times may change without notice.

4  Orders & payment

Prices are in Danish kroner (DKK) and include Danish VAT unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed securely by our payment partner (e.g. Stripe). A contract is formed only when you receive our confirmation e‑mail.

4.1  Custom Commissions (items not listed in the webshop)

  1. Initial contact & brief – You describe the desired artwork (size, colours, materials, deadline).
  2. Design fee (DKK 950) – Covers a full 2‑/3‑D design, materials list and timeline. Credited against the final price if the order proceeds. Non‑refundable if you stop after the design phase.
  3. Advance payment (50 % invoice) – Issued after design approval and payable in addition to the design fee. Production begins only once this payment clears.
    • The advance covers bespoke materials and studio time.
    • By paying, you acknowledge that the EU 14‑day right of withdrawal does not apply to custom goods (Dir. 2011/83/EU, Art. 16 c).
  4. Cancellation during production – If you cancel after production has started, the 50 % advance is non‑refundable.
  5. Final invoice (remaining 50 %) – Payable upon completion, before delivery or collection.
  6. Copyright – All sketches and digital designs remain The Tuftista’s intellectual property. You own only the finished physical artwork.

5  Shipping, cancellations & returns

Delivery times are estimates and may vary by destination.
All orders within the European Union are shipped with free standard delivery, which is included in the product price.

Risk transfers to you upon delivery.
Returns are governed by our Return Policy. The EU 14-day right of withdrawal applies only to non-custom items.

6  Intellectual property

All designs, photos and content on this site belong to The Tuftista and may not be used without written permission.

7  Liability

The site and products are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by Danish law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned.

8  Optional tools & third‑party links

We may offer third‑party tools or links. Use them at your own risk; their terms apply.

9  Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version is always posted here. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

10  Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes may be brought before the Danish courts or, for EU consumers, via the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
