The story & craft process

Handmade in Copenhagen from sustainable Danish wool, Disorder redefines the traditional cushion as a sculptural textile. Inspired by fractured linework and shifting grids, its 40 × 40 cm form is hand-felted with pure wool, warm water, and natural olive oil soap – no chemicals. The piece is shaped and refined over more than three hours using a precise resist-felting technique to build its relief-like surface. The back is finished in smooth cream cotton with a hidden zipper, combining artistic expression with practical everyday use.
