The story & craft process
Ebb & Flow is more than wall art-it’s a meditative, sculptural textile piece, handcrafted in my Copenhagen studio. Using ethically sourced wool, raffia, and other plant-based fibres, the composition translates the rhythm of ocean tides into a tactile, layered surface. The relief is built by hand through careful tufting and shaping, giving the work a grounded, natural texture that changes gently with the light. The result is a contemporary Scandinavian textile piece that invites slower attention and long-term living.
Styling & fit
Designed to complement modern, minimalist, and Japandi interiors. Its 7 cm relief adds quiet dimension to living rooms, bedrooms, or entryways-ideal above a console, sofa, or bed. Works as a solitary statement or paired with neutral materials (wood, stone, linen) for a cohesive, nature-led aesthetic.
